Dear Parents and Prospective Pupils
The Viking School provides a rich, balanced and varied curriculum, alongside providing a warm and stimulating learning environment. As the only independent school in the Skegness area, we are able to provide an education which is tailored to each child's needs, helping every one of our pupils reach their full potential.
A highly-motivated team of teaching staff, small class sizes and a caring, familial atmosphere, provide a learning environment where each individual can grow in confidence and competence, increasing their overall enthusiasm for learning. Although we attach a high priority to academic excellence, all staff work hard to aid each child to develop and excel in its' own talents, wherever they may lie. Ofsted spoke of our productive setting as forming `positive relationships' in a learning `atmosphere of tolerance, respect and harmony'.
At the Viking School we are proud to have traditional values. Pupils, teachers and parents work together to build co-operative, respectful relationships through which children are encouraged at all times to develop good manners, politeness and consideration for the needs of others. At the Viking we believe that the education of your child should be a shared experience between home and school, working together to reach a mutual goal.
This website can only provide you with a very brief glimpse of the Viking School and, only by visiting and seeing our school in action, will you be able to appreciate our cheerful family atmosphere and our ethos. We are always delighted to welcome prospective parents and pupils to visit, where you will meet our polite, enthusiastic pupils and our helpful and welcoming staff. Consequently, if you require any further information, or wish to make an appointment, please contact us by telephone or email.
We look forward to meeting you in the future,
Sandra Barker Principal
